Primary Reader

Primary Persona

The primary reader is a privacy engineer, platform engineer, or architect scoping a PET-based system in the next two to four weeks.

They are trying to decide:

  • Which PET architecture to shortlist
  • What threat model assumptions must hold
  • What should be measured before production
  • What could break operationally
  • Which claims need evidence before buy-in

Secondary Readers

Researchers, policy teams, product teams, students, maintainers, and funders are important secondary readers.

They should benefit from the guide, but the page altitude should not drift away from the primary reader's decision.

Writing Test

Before publishing a page, ask:

Would this help an engineer or architect make a better PET decision this month?

If the answer is no, the page may belong in an appendix, a research note, or the Fix My Itch backlog instead.
